HEPA filtration

Air passes through a pre-filter and HEPA filter. The filter captures airborne particles, including dust and pollen carried into the unit. Regular cleaning and filter replacement help keep the system working as intended.

ODOGard-treated filters

Give odours their own attention.

The HEPA filter is treated with ODOGard. The manufacturer describes a treatment that binds to odour molecules. It works within the complete purifier; a whole-device result cannot tell us how much reduction comes from the filter treatment alone.

Photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) uses light to activate a catalyst. Bipolar ionisation (BPI) produces positive and negative ions. These are separate processes within the unit, alongside filtration. Their performance must be assessed against the tested model, pollutant and conditions.

Will HEPA Pro fix a damp or mouldy room?

No. Filtration can capture airborne particles that reach the filter. It does not remove established mould, fix damp or replace repairs and remediation. Investigate moisture and arrange appropriate remedial work.

Is it suitable for my room?

The manufacturer’s sales sheet gives up to 123 m², based on an 8 ft ceiling and three air exchanges per hour. This is a sizing guide, not a guarantee of the same result in every room. Consider ceiling height, layout, occupancy, ventilation and where the unit can circulate air.

How do I look after the filters?

Unplug the unit before cleaning. The manual recommends monthly cleaning, including vacuuming the pre-filter and cleaning the sensor. Replace the HEPA filter at least annually, or more often in polluted environments. Ask our team about replacement filters and the PCO/BPI service schedule for your unit.
